La Bruyère Blanche brings a complete and unique selection of excellent local wines from the seven Bergerac regions: Pécharmant, Monbazillac, Saussignac, Rosette, Bergerac, Côtes de Bergerac, Montravel, that have already impressed top wine specialists whom were asked for their opinions. Having found a large and complete range of local ingredients and excellent wines, the Bergerac region remains the only supplier of Château les Merles.

We have discovered a large number of Chateaux in this area, whose names we proudly announce and whose stories are personally told and signed by the owners in our wine guide. We want to offer more than just a list of good wines. By giving the background information of every wine, including the technical properties and the people behind it with their philosophies, dreams, frustrations, disasters (think of The Ripening Sun, Patricia Atkinson), we wish to create a wine adventure.

Each wine has its own identity, its own story and its very own characteristics. Instead of creating dishes and then finding a nice wine to drink with it, we took each one of the selected wines and then created the recipes for the dishes to match the wine's specific taste patterns.

Normally one creates dishes and then chooses matching wines. Our wine adventure entails selecting the wine with its specific taste patterns first, as a base for the creation of the dishes.

We want your visit to be an unforgettable experience. In our restaurant, La Bruyère Blanche, our objective is to awake and enforce your senses through its people, pleasant atmosphere, natural savours and tastes, high quality dishes and excellent wines.
